WTF was wrong with me?" And in a way I'm glad that I've grown out of my stupid self because I play remasters of games that OTHERS love because of nostalgia but I never played and go, "WTF is this shit?" and get absolutely bombarded with downvotes and emotional tantrums (looking at you Halo fans). and it drives me nuts (pun not intended).

One of the most game-breaking bugs for me is that the vehicles have no sound at all at first but as you drive them around, you eventually get to hear an out-of-sync engine audio loop that will.

I despise the new "lens flares" on vehicle headlights which make the game feel like it's older than the original one was, the new redesigned "guns" are mostly just rehashed UI icons and the 22FPS screen-tearing cutscenes somehow feel worse than the original's even though I downloaded and played the original just for comparison and they were there in the original too. Even the claim that the paint is superior is HIGHLY debatable. The remaster literally feels like a coat of paint and absolutely nothing else. I played through the game a month ago along with all the DLCs and holy shit was it a disaster. It's graphics have been substantially improved, sure, but trust me, the downsides make it unworthy of being bought. So I bought the remaster the day it was released on Steam.
